Etosha National Park, located in northern Namibia, is one of Africa’s best wildlife reserves, covering 22,270 km². The park is centered around the Etosha Pan, a vast salt flat that attracts abundant wildlife, including lions, leopards, elephants, rhinos, giraffes, and over 340 bird species. During the dry season (May–October), animals gather around the park’s natural and man-made waterholes, offering excellent game viewing. Visitors can enjoy self-drive safaris, guided game drives, night safaris, and stays in lodges or campsites. Entry fees start at $7 per person per day, and the park is accessible via Ondangwa or Windhoek airports, with a 4–5 hour drive from Windhoek.
